2004-08-06 FMChecker 1.1.1 - Milestone: Formulas and X-References
A new milestone has been set with these new features:
- Fields as formula and summary are now being shown in detail
- All fields in a formula can be clicked for further details
- Browser like navigation has been added
- Lists of Uses and Used by show field and relation dependencies
- How many times a file has been cloned before
Some minor bugs were corrected.
2004-06-03 FMChecker 1.0a4 - Workaround for File Reference Fixer
After applying MetadataMagic's File Reference Fixer to a file, File References were not shown anymore with FMChecker. This unveiled that FMChecker can detect file corruption in those parts of the file that it currently analyses. More details here.
2004-05-26 FMChecker 1.0a3 - Minor update released
A bug under OS 9 has been eliminated that caused FMChecker to hang when a password protected file was dragged onto FMChecker while it was not the front most application. (A modal dialog was presented without bringing the application to the front.) Also eliminated some unnecessary window redraws under OS 9.
Minor corrections to the Password pane (Menu command limitations).
Minor corrections to the File References pane (path type).
Check for Update and Buy FMChecker now work on Windows too (Help menu).
Feature added
Default passwords can now be stored as preferences. When opening files, these passwords are being tried as master password. Up to 32 entries are allowed.
2004-05-11 Huslik Verlag GmbH Releases FMChecker 1.0a2
A free FMChecker Preview offers numerous important details about FileMaker files, including Print Settings, Sort Order, Find Requests, Import- and Export Orders, Not Properly Closed Count, and numerous other settings is made available for the public. This version may be upgraded anytime by entering a license number.
FMChecker Standard requires the purchase of a license and provides even deeper insights, like Print, Sort, Find, Import, and Export settings for scripts, the contents of global variables and password privileges.
The software is cross-platform. Downloads are provided for OS 9, OS X, and Windows.
