FMChecker Community Edition is available for Windows and Macintosh. The Macintosh version runs on both, OS 9 and OS X systems. You may move FMChecker from OS x to OS 9 and vice versa. Since the .dmg format can not natively be unpacked on OS 9, we provide an OS 9 installer for your convenience. For Windows one installer is sufficient.
Technically there is no difference between the free FMChecker Community Edition and FMChecker Standard. All you need is a license name and number to enable full features.
Buying a license is very easy. Once you have downloaded the free version, simply select "Buy FMChecker" from the Help menu. All you need is an Internet connection and a valid credit card to proceed. Unlocking is done instantly, usually within a minute and without typing any serial numbers.
You will of course also receive an e-mail with your personal serial number. Since the license you've bought is a personal multi-platform multi-computer one, you may use this serial number on every machine you personally use.
In case there are other persons using FMChecker Standard on the same machine, you may have to buy additional licenses. You need as many licenses as there are users or machines, whichever is less. |
